hi jal, the weather is bad here at the moment, gales every day or 2 and i have not fished much so far this yr. tomorrow the sun+and moon are in transit just after L.W. 12ish,(spring tides) M.S.+S.S. @ 5.30ish = h.w. so i would fish say from 11.30 till 2ish, then again from about 4 till 6.30.

thanks for replying so quick cortaz - i hadn't realised the weather's been consistently bad there in ireland. i will try the times you suggested tomorrow and post here if i hit the jackpot ;).
24th jan i went out and caught a decent sized bream, it goes to show there's something in this magick! - most sessions here in spain i catch f all :( and that also goes for most of the local anglers i speak to!
cheers

yep, and on the day of n.m. both the sun/moon are in transit at about the same time 12/12.30ish depending on time of yr.

fished both these times last week cortaz (thurs 7th feb) and found there to be a lot of activity, fish not biting all the time but definitely they were on the feed. i had 2 wrasse the first trip and 3 the second, quite young fish so all went back safely, a bit disappointed not to take home my dinner! cheers again for your advice. i'll follow the moon more closely from now on. hope the weather's gotten better there in ireland for you all.
