Braid
Howya lads! Can anyone suggest a decent knot to attach braid to mono? Also if using mono as backing should it be over a certain breaking strain to stop the braid eating into it :?:

i use an albright or else a double grinner. i tend to use mono backup of around 20lbs.
its as much the knot you use as the strenght of mono that will prevent the braid cutting the mono (a single contact knot like a bouble blood knot for example would eat right into the mono but an albright wouldnt)
