grouper landed by commercial

#1 Post by kieran »

Hi lads

Talking to someone recently and a boat fishing off the Porcupine Bank landed a grouper. Had some other interesting species too including several allis shad, big red mullet and tons of spurdogs (doubtless they will fish them back near to extinction again soon).

Ten years ago no one thought of giltheads and the like...

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks
