#1 Post by nialler »

Hope to be heading south for the weekend lads, friday night to sunday night, considering fishing cahore on saturday then head further down sunday maybe towards dunmore.. have never fished there before tho, hope to bring a bit of everything bait wise and fish into darkness saturday night, have only fished as far south as arklow to date  . if anyone had any suggestion on where to head for around dunmore ? that would be a great help.. wasint intending on targeting any species in particular but any info would be great. All replies appreciated

P.S And somewhere for a decent pint near a B&B

alright nailler,

if i were you id go to ballymoney, park in the carpark and walk left till you come to the light, you'll know what i mean when you see it. its fishing well for codling flounder etc, sat you could try cahore, but a bettre bet would be a bit further down the beach at ballinoulart or morriscastle, there fishing for good codling after dark , you'll also get flounder cloalies whiting and maybe a bass. lug and crab best dont forget the muscle for bulking baits up.
