ballygalley fri 11/01/08

#1 Post by rab 525 »

People:me and jh

Duration:19.30--21.45

Tide:low up

Weather:mod s/w, dry

Bait:lug, squid, mussels and mack

Rigs:flappers

Results:1 three beard rockling, 1 five beard rockling and 1 codling

Report:headed out for a few hours when the wind eased looking for a wee bit of sport even tho the tide times were all wrong and didnt suit. called into glenarm beach but it was unfishable due to weed so headed back to ballygalley which was free of weed :D but little did we know that allthe kelp was lying about 20 yds out  which made retrieving a nightmare.
even so we managed a couple of slugs and a wee codling of 28 cms.
