Kilkeel Co.Down

#1 Post by marshpike »

There's been alot of interest in the Codling that I've been catching down around Kilkeel, just woundering if those that are interested fancy a fish in this weekend Sat or Sunday on an unfished beach situated just outside the mouth of the lough.

Tide is at 19.00 Friday, 20.00 Saturday or around 21.00 on Sunday if anyone's interested let me know, as I'll be heading down.

He who dares........

Few people interested in Sunday!!

This is where I purpose fishing, good clean beach with a nice bit of depth reaching out to broken ground for the distance casters.

I would suggest starting at 18.00 if its not too late, for those travelling down I can show you you some low water marks if you want to make a day out of it but they can only be fished for the first two hours of the flood due to the strength of the tide.

Alot of fish are found around the mouth of the lough so why wouldn't you get them coming into shore during the cover of darkness
