Rod repair

I closed the car door on the top half of a rod. The bottom half is fine. Any advice on getting a replacement top?

Is there nowhere I can buy the top half? - either new or off someone who has an old rod? Do people just throw the bottom away?

The rod I smashed was an Ugly stick spin (sapphire), 9ft casting 25-65g. It is not going to break the bank to replace it but if anyone has a top-half that can be "recycled" I could make a donation to a charity of their choice.
