Any have one? I'm thinking of getting one and I'm just wondering if anyone has any opinions, good or bad on them, or if there are any other cameras that might be worth a look. I know that there is a bit of a trade off between tough/waterproof and photo quality but I'm looking for something I can throw in the bag and not worry about it getting a bit wet or knocked about.

Camera
Had a look at a few reviews here and there (eg: http://www.cameralabs.com ). General consensus is that it a very good camera. The only competition is from the Pextax Optio W30 range.
Looks to me like it would do all you ask of it. At 7MP it will have more than enough for anything and it should take the knocks.

I got this exact camera for christmas have been using it while ive been skiing and have dropped it in the snow numerous times and its been soaked and its grand. Havent used it under water yet but will do soon enough. it feels very sturdy and solid and its got loads of settings for different scenarios. Heres a picture on full zoom.

Thanks for the replies guys. I was originally looking at the 770 alright but apparently the 790 has replaced it, it's a bit cheaper but not quite as tough or quite as waterproof. Then again I don't really intend to stand on it or go swimming in 10m of water, so I reckon the 790 will do me just fine. After reading this review I'm pretty satisfied that it will do all I need and more. I think I'll get my girlfriend to pick me up one while she is over in the States, should be a bit cheaper with the exchange rate. :D I just need to check that the charger is dual voltage.:?

most chargers nowadays are rated 100v-230v, if it isnt chances are you'll find one on e-bay cheap enough :D
