The long awaited post has arrived!!-Donaghadee Pier 06/01/08

People:Me and Dad

Duration:7:30 am- 11:00 am

Tide:High

Weather:Calm breeze, cold and dark(at the start)

Bait:Squid, mack, razorfish, ragworm

Rigs:2 Hook Flappers

Results:
Me-Blankity blank :!:
Dad- One fluke of a whiting :evil: :evil: :evil:

Report:

Fishing Dee Pier today for a few cod, poor results, But I managed to use my multi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was brill! casting was smooth and distant(despite the 25lb line) no birdies(for me) and that nice sound it makes when casting. One thing which is a flop is the slow retrieve. My dad casted about 4 times with it without birdieing :shock: :shock: :shock: :!: but then caused one and I had to strip the spool at home! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

But I don't care, because I can use it and I love using it!

Well done Conor, didnt take you long to get to grips with the multi :)

I can remember the first time I used a multi :oops: .........gives you a great advantage during the day light hours.
