decided to try something new for a change i use beads and crimps for 99% of my rigs but must admitt to finding rig building to be a bore . found these little things in viking in bray , i,ve used others on bought rigs that where crap but must admitt these are great quality and will be going on my daytime bass rigs in future not cheap at just over 3 yo yos for 12 but quality is rarely cheap these days ,i recon the could also help if that old cabbage weed turns up as without the beads there,s less for it to gripp to

They are really simple to use and great quality

sorry, these things are rubbish, started using the a while back only to see my catch rate drop, asked around and found out why- they destroy the movement of your bait, restricting the flow and ebb of your snood. as well as this, the crimp part disintegrates after one session. my advice use a wire cutters, remove the swivels and go buy some more beads and crimps and get back to some hard work at the rig station :D

i agree with Eric(shock horror), these things are crap. if you have to use this sort of thing i would recommend smartrig smarties. they are ok, but cant compare to crimp, bead, swivel, bead, crimp(in that order).

Use them all the time on my long and light snooded scratching rigs, had no issues with them. Combine a pack of those and a some of those Grauvell hooks pretied to fluorocarbon and you can have a rig tied in seconds on the beach if needs be, handy yokes.

I've got to agree with Eric here. These things aren't worth the money and the crimp part breaks easily under any kind of load (e.g. a fish!). I'll stick with the traditional crimps, beads and swivel.

lads have caught some nice bass using these make sure that u use the correct size ones for the correct trace body line size .also i tend to only use my trace about on two sessions then check them and bin them and make new ones. also had a double figure smoothhound on them in the summer twenty pound amnesia hook snood broke before the crimps but beached fish was luky . :lol:

Don't over crimp them either and you should have no problems.
