Whats your New Year's Fishing Resolution

#1 Post by nthclare »

Mine is to get out fishing more often and tie new traces for 08 as I was using the 06 ones in 07 Lol and catch fish.

I had a v chilled fishing year last year this time ill make a better effort and put Corby in the right direction to catch his first Clare bass lol

you know im a willing glutton for punishment down in clare - so i reckon my resolution is to fish even more clare marks and to hit some other counties further south also!

need to stop my habit of leaving traces weights and kit after me also

I newer fished from someones behind... :D
2. If spot busy i always ask if its OK if i... :D
3. I newer fish between two anglers-friends.... :D

To try and catch more species, there are still quite a few species I've yet to catch, well quite a lot actually and I wouldn't mind crossing a few of them of the list this year. So perhaps some new techniques, venues and hopefully some new species for 2008.

This year, due to travel/exams/injury I went fishing a total of 7 (thats SEVEN!!) flippin times so obviously boosting that figure dramatically wil be my main aim!
In no particular order
30 species
50 sessions
4 specimens
“........if people from Leinster support Munster, it’s actually good as it has separated those who really want to support us from the fickle ones, which means the base is being built on a solid core of support. If it’s based on fly-by supporters, that’s not a good foundation – as they say, rats will always jump first from a sinking ship.” Denis Hickie, Disco Legend
