People:me

Duration:5 till11

Tide:12ish

Weather:cold cold cold and very cold

Bait:freshand frozen lug squid and razor

Rigs:2/o pulley and 2 hook 1/o bomber rig

Results:approx 30 coalies,5codling,2whitting 1dab,1schoolie
all catch and release.

Report:Headed for a shltered mark just to get out coalies right from the start avg 1lb but one clonker just under 4lb a pb for me,the cod were small bu one just over the 2lb mark everything else tiny including the bass.A differant type of fishing using small baits the fish took whatever was put on the hook, came home without any left for a change. The coalies were very finicky though and despite high number caught it took a lot of concentration to hook them.
Glad I went and it was nice to know that despite the easterly winds a few fish can still be caught if you scale down the expectations of fishing for lunkers all the time.I actually learned alot from today and enjoyed the fresh air and beauty of the lights flickering in the night sky.
Roll on the sth westerlies and the xmas hols.
