I'm not sure an accurate one actually exists, but the closest I've come to so far is http://www.ireland.com/weather/cities/

SeanP from the forum uses a site that gives the long range forecast which includes such gems as the swell forecast and temperatures.Sean you might post up this site.

long term weather

#7 Post by kieran »

The best long term weather forecast is the aviation maps from the NOAA (US Government). I have found them to be uncannily accurate for up to two weeks in advance, literally down to 3 hour interval changes in Donegal! It does require a wee bit of work and interpretation of the data but...

http://www.arl.noaa.gov/ready/cmet.html (also in the links station)

Double click on the map or enter the coordinates

From the METEOGRAM select the duration of forecast that you want in the drop down list.

Click on the radio bullet to give you "DEFAULT WITH WINDS" since wind direction and speed are pretty important to us anglers... scroll down to the bottom of the page and type in the CODE displayed in the mix up box into the space provided. Hit "Get Meteogram" and bob is your uncle!

Rainfall is the green columns.
Wind is indicated by the direction, speed by the number of bars attached to the tail of each indicator.
There was a very interesting piece about the impact of high and low pressure on fishing on another website, i think anglersnet.co.uk and this is indicated at sea level and (for aircraft) at altitude.

Temperature and dew point also listed.

"Text Results" will give you the raw data, including wind speed in knots.

As I say, exceptionally accurate. Scary!
Damn useful mind :D
Kieran Hanrahan

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks

That's the one Bigcol was talking about, I think its the same data as John uses the marine.ie site. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/coast/pressure/ is another, I find its a case of keeping a few good sites in your favourites and taking an average between them all.
