favourite snood?

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Pete,
If you don't have a SRT available you could use some silicone tubing instead of the spring. It still allows the snoods to move on the main rig body and when the cascade releases it works the same as the spring.

Cheers Derek. I have SRTs alright but I prefer to keep rigs as uncomplicated as possible and am not having any stretch issues with the fluoro so will continue in that vein for the time being anyhow. I try and avoid using rigs over considerable periods of time so there shouldn't be any issues.

if you use powergum stop knots instead of crimps its dead easy reposition snoods that might stretch. used with cascade swivels you get streamlined clipped down rigs with 100% release rate. srt's help but some folks dont like them although i'd much prefer them to sliding bait clips which often dont release
