Drive to Mandarin chinese restaurant on new ross road...turn right there anywhere down that road along the river. You have to cross the railway tracks to get to the river. We found the cod were taking lug and mussel only :? Best of luck !!!!

Paul,

if it's Cod you're after marks like Passage and Cheekpoint should produce fish. Also as you know the quay in the city is producing too, you will see the anglers as you drive thru the city. Havn't heard many reports from the beaches it seems to be all Cod in the river at present.

Cheekpoint is your best bet...Loads of cod, whiting and flounder to be had...

Paul,

Most of our fish were caught further down from the church...A couple of mates from Galway fished it on Saturday and they had 1 codling each.I put it down to the North wind that was blowin' on Saturday..I've never caught anything when the wind is coming from the North !!!
