I am travelling around ireland doing field survey work and tomorrow am looking after some gps equipment right on Ringabella bay.
Has anyone got any info on this area as I have my gear in the car?
Any particular mark here to try?
Im only here for a day but will be there most of morning and afternoon.
I have no bait and no clue where to pick some up. Is there anywhere close by? Maybe in Carrigaline? Im staying at airport.
It is just south of Myrtleville where the estuary starts. Seems to bve a pebble beach with some nice rocks heading out
Thx

That looks like Fountainstown beach. Ringabella is on the opposite side of the estuary and you need to go through carrigaline to get there by road. Flounder can be caught from the Ringabella side and in the estuary on a coming tide. All I've had from Fountainstown beach is dogs and coalies. I used Crab for the flounder. Frozen Lug tipped with mack for the coalies and plain mack for the dogs.
Bass have also been taken from the rocks either side on crab. But not by me unfortunately :(
