Duration:11am - 3,30pm

Tide:high water was 12,30pm

Weather:breezy, showers

Bait:rag mack

Rigs:single hook clipped down

Results:6coalies, 1 whiting, 1 codling, 1 dab :D

Catch and Release:: Yes/


Report:headed up to waterfoot yesterday (fri), was a bit unsure of wat to expect, spoke to ronald in bac, an he suggested the ledges, wind blowin a gale rite into my face, so went to the pier, any how set up an cracked first cast out, only in the water 2mins, an bites already, 1st cast 1st fish happy dayz, it was about 1lb 6oz coalie, same thing for next hour an half, constant bites, few other anglers arrived, think they r on this forum, slack water an got really good hit, got it in an there was a nice codling, ceemed to go down well with other anglers, have to say they were catchin a few as well, tide started to turn an had a few more coalies, then a small whiting,followed by a small dab, all caught on rag tipped with mack, overall well pleased, an cant wait to get out again

well done michael, haven't fished the pier in a while, might take a run up next week. seems to be plenty of codling getting caught all round the antrim coast. and nice coalie mate, caught some good ones of garron point a fortnight ago.

Think i'm going to have to take a run up the antrim coast again soon
