Welcome im a newbie too. Very interesting site though full of guys/gals that know there stuff and ive blanked loads of times but still enjoying the chase :D :D
Catches for 2012: Pollock, Mackerel, Dogfish, Sea Trout, Ballen Wrasse

And more to come on the end of my line ............

there are plenty here who will blank with you on a session.. its just one of those things you get used to..

it also helps in the learning process.. try keep a log of times you catch and blank... and after time you'll see a pattern emerging (unless you are totally hopless at fishing that is) :D

i wouldnt worry about blanking, i drove the whole way to waterford for a comp and blanked went fishing the next day and blanked, and to rub salt in the wound teacher caught a bass while using my rod rest, but have loads of fun and learnt a few new things, and that is what fishing is about(and catching fish) so dont worry about blanks we all have them, so welcome to the club and the site mate
