Its getting a bit late in the year for Ballintoy, having fished it for last 20 odd years or so and being within walking distance always found Dec/Jan is best. But like most places around Ballintoy - Ballycastle area the shore fishing has got worse. You could spend days on it for a big fish now rather than a few hours
