could someone differentiate between the current 525 mag xtra and the original 525 mag?

also whats the difference between the6500 premium,hi-speed and c3ct mag elites with regard to casting??
i thought the premium was better than the original c3ct but in an advertisement in sea angler recentlty the c3ct is dearer than the premium???

As far as I remember the difference between the 525 mag xtra and the original 525 mag is that included in the box of the 525 mag xtra are 2 extra magnets and a pair of Bearings.

not sure about 525's but got 6500 hi speed and I'm just fishing with it .its ok with light line on match type rod ,but if you'll get decent dogfish r cod- fish that mostly feels heavy on the line,you no power not even mention the speed in the reel you have to pump it out big time,as for casting the 6500 hi speed has a bait alarm and if you take off side plate you'll see the plastic on the side of the spool,its just for stopping the spool turning once the bait alarm is on,line out makes it sound and giving line much harder than free spool,and its only pushed in to the spool,now then you cast spool spins around pin Barr who also goes trough that plastic thing who spins together with the spool ,the hole for pin bar is just the size of it and that's i think slows down a lot . I wanted to make that hole bigger than a pin, but it could be ,that then you swicth alarm on , it will push it out of his place... I'm sure you will understand better if you just look at it ...
sorry for "plastic thing" its annoying me :twisted: because don't know the name in English ,could be "gear " :oops: using orange premium and green elite and just nothing wrong to say about them regards fishing and casting,but its just me,I'm sure you'll hear different opinions

so out of the box both are identical?? thats what ive heard aswel..cheers
