People:me and 1 other

Duration: 10am-1.30 pm

Tide: lw at 11.30

Weather: sunny but cold easterly wind

Bait:lug and razor

Rigs: 2 hook paternoster

Results:missed 2 fish

Catch and Release:: Yes/No

Report: with the sun and E wind did not have high hopes. Got a bite after about 30 mins but missed fish.

Moved inwards with the tide. As water was shallow was wading up to 60 yds and casting the same again. Around 12.30 my rod buckled and I struck.

Saw a bass jumping clear out of water and it fought really hard, mainly on surface. Just as I was about to beach it the hook came out. Fish looked to be about 4 lb.

Returned home cold but refreshed after a pleasant few hours.

Fishing is always better than work.

James,

No...we didn't see anybody in the car park.I drove up to the top of the spit and fished into the deep channel where the boats go out.I saw a guy fishing over the other side at the old Church.
