d/dee pier 5/11/07

People:me ,davy and nifisher(jonny)

Duration:3hrs

Tide:hw

Weather:brezzy nw

Bait:lug, rag, mackerel , squid

Rigs:2-3 hook flapper and pulley rigs

Results:codling ,coalies,pollack,doggie,poorcod ,pouting and shore rockling

Catch and Release::

Report:took a run to d'dee to use up some lug davy had dug for the weekend , by the time we got set up it was nearly hw but from the start we were all getting bites with a few decent codling ( well decent for n.down)of near a pound appearing and some nice coalies mixed in through ,jonny also picked up 2 doggies .
A good wee session and nice to meet nifisher for the first time .

Ronald and Davy nice to have met you both really enjoyed it. Stayed on for about an hour after you left managed another 2 doggies after you left and lost another. Also another Pouting, Pollock and Whiting (i think) oh and a shore crab on Davys Lug.

I havent had many Dogs off the Dee this year... I suppose I should really count my blessings like, You get the Dogs on the Pulleys in the Rough?

No the dogs were caught on my light rod 1.5lb test curve carp rod with a light surf trace. Put a good bend in such a light rod!! Had a pulley rig on my big rod less than 15feet away a got nothing lol I was fishing the gap between the piers
