Can you give us a bit more info, like bait, state of tide, in close or far, beach, rocks or pier, Thanks.

if you know greystones south beach just at the driving range you are sure to pick up dogs mainly using macks just cast 30 yards out just shy of the foul ground on a flowing tide. best of luck

It's almost impossible to miss them out there at nighttime, any bait, any state of tide.
Just out to the right of the archway on the south beach, and as brian says only 30-50 yards out.
2008 Species: Flounder, whiting, coal fish, Dogfish, rockling, dab.

Cheers, it's not for myself that I asked, I'm doing my best to avoid them  , but it was more for people like Aaron above whos never caught any and the only way he will learn if people give as much info as possible. Hopefully your post will help him catch a few.
