Lug

#1 Post by Breathe the o2 »

Hi lads,

I'm heading out to Ennereilly this Sat and was just wondering if anyone knows of any shops in the south of Dublin or North Wicklow that has lug in stock as I feel Ennereilly is more suited to lug than rag at this time of year.

Cheers

don't ever leave home without the rag, schoolies and flats love them as well as everything else that swims. people say rag only fishes well during calm clear weather but a couple of weeks ago i was fishing a heavy sea and nothing went for lug or crab, rag was all they where eating for some reason.
mikes's bikes in dunlaoghraire does fresh rag and they should be starting to stock lug now.
viking in bray does both as well.

Cheers for the info lads!

Eric I have some rag from Tuesday which is not the freshest but it will probably do the trick. I've been fishing with rag all Summer though and just want to try something new and mix it up a bit. I didn't know Viking stock lug at this stage of the year so cheers for that.

by all means mix it up, the fish will let you know which bait is best and only them so arrive for all eventualities , ring viking beforehand and check because they usually sell out quickly.
