what are they ? I'm still trying to get 50 species for the year ,i seem to have ground to a halt :lol:

reading through my ifsa diary i can see that no one here has caught a mako shark,tunny,six gilled shark,allis shad,stone bass or thresher shark

Ah wait!......i seem to have got it wrong :oops: :oops: :oops:

there is indeed 66 eligible species for a specimen award but there are quite a few missing in our list. :oops:

we have filled the place of the "missing" fish(so to speak) with non-eligible mini species.

anyway Ronald, just look back through the list there will be a few there that you haven't caught :lol: :lol:

possibley a black goby ,have to check it out though ,not sure about the positioning of the black spot on the dorsal .caught on mackerel at ballycotton pier .
Also a lamprey caught on live baited coalie :lol: I used peeler crab for the coalie and the lamprey appeared ,not sure weither it will count ,I'll leave the decision to the judges

well if silver(freshwater) eel and twaite shad count i dont see why it shouldnt

looks more like a river lamprey than a sea lamprey(going by the colour of it)

why wouldn't TWAITE SHAD count.

They are after all a true salt water fish.

just not caught that often in the sea.
