Grauvell Blanks

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Boat rods are excellent, haven't tried any of the shore ones but finish is good on those I've seen.

Had the pleasure of using some of the Grauvell rods, both shore and Boat. I have the Tektron in the 14' version with standard and match tips. Beautiful piece of kit, super sensitive with the match tip and loads of backbone with the standard tip. I owned a TC surfcast for a while also with 3 seperate tips. I have an Anaga 270 for boat use, again with 3 tips. Can't fault it at all.

I dont think, for the money, you can find a better quality or finished range of rods on the market. Yeah, Zippys are the dogs danglies but they are double the price. Highly recommend you take a look at them.

De Dodger is right I do have one - a 14' FS Teckron too. Lovely rod, very sensitive, a little tricky to cast with but light. One major con is the zipidy zip reel mount which has driven me to distraction on every occasion - before I decided to use casters to secure the reel.
No problem Iain if you PM I'll elaborate more.
