ZTI

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

I know that Rockhopper had a few during the summer, if you PM him I'm sure he would be happy to give you a report.

A cracking rod, tones of usable power with a very fast recovery,
one if zziplex,s best.

I would be interested to know your thoughts on the rod Iain? I noticed in another thread you said you "banjoed" one back in june, I havent heard of any problems or breakages with the ZTI so am very interested in what happened to yours? What was the reason given/cause for the breakage?

I have tried the other two rods of its generation the profile and the M4, both are super smooth, slim, powerful rods with buckets of recovery, ive played with but not cast the ZTI and it felt exactly the same just a step up again from the M4. I would be suprised if it was any different.

This was not what I was asking -- If I ask someone if they have seen a particular film it would not infer that I had not - I might just be interested in their opinions. I bought the rod second hand and it turns out it had been damaged by a falling toolbox. Never got much chance to use it as a result. Have ordered my own one now and threw that question out to see others opinions on it as I eagerly await its delivery. It is a powerful rod.

perhaps you should have given your views on the zti to begin with ? just being a "powerfull rod " tells us nothing . then we can compare our findings with yours .

Em, it tells you it's a powerful rod.

This tells us nothing about the rod, but something about you.

Why buy a rod that has been beat up by a tool box in the 1st place :?: surely there was visible deformity in the carbon, ive bashed rods off various things plenty of times as its plain to see when they have been damaged, i thought Coppinger knows.

Believe me, Coppinger knows. This blank looked immaculate but a mate of the guy tipped me off after I'd shelled out that it had been damaged. Maybe Coppinger doesn't know good patch up jobs. You collectors ever fish with these rods or are you only into the landlocked lightning conductor thing?
