rock fishing info wanted

Went rock fishing once before, with a lunatic in the dark put me off big time but want to try it again, looking for info on wrasse fishing, plenty of small hardback crab round herebut hook size? how to present? any info would help thanks

rock fish durning the day mate, its safer and with deep water in front of you the fish bite better during the day, try float fishing
