Nice fish alright, fair play. How long did it take you to land it?

i recon it took about 20 mins :? i was more worried about loosing it but it was fun running along the beach shouting at roger to reel in as i was coming towards him :lol: i think he actually asked was i in :lol:

Super Fishing well done!! Will be over fishing the beaches around north wexford south wicklow around the 27th with one of my fishing buddies based out of wicklow can't wait.

i take it it is the same venue where joe got his rod whipped in on sunday
you would think he would of learned to set his ratchet from last year :lol: :lol:
very lucky to have got it back.
i would put that fish in around the 50lb mark.

:lol: :lol: last year was more my fault he did ask me to watch it but i hit a fish and was fighting it when i seen his rod flying through the air at some speed :lol: it did cost me a red oblivion so i learned a lesson to

yea was thinking she was def 50 as ive had pleanty on the boat in and around 40 and she was so much bigger and heavier

There was a photo of a guy in one of the Sea Angler mags last year with a 55lb Tope taken off Kilcoole beach. You shoud send in that photo above, see if they print it.

I've seen a few big Tope overr the years, I would bet that Tope is well over the 40lb mark, it looks to be a solid looking specimen.
