cazbass wrote:mr crow having landed the grand total of two bass up to now this year as noticed in your catch reports i bow to your superior knowlege of this great species,,,
i do not consider you comments ,due to your experience of catching bass, a viable scourse do you know the size of a 74 cm 740mmbass??
as the man said its getting bigger

you obviously havent fished for bass up my end of the country.. pretty much non-existant(yet i have caught 2 up here over 6lbs)
i might have only caught 2 bass this year.. but that reflects the amount of time i have gone fishing specifically to target bass, it also involves alot of travel too.

and a 74cm bass is the same size as a 74cm pollock(in length) and its also the same size as 74cm on a meter measure, for some of us judging length is easier than weight, especially if you cant hold the fish and weigh it.

but what would i know.. i'm only a young lad who's cut from the good stuff

so does this mean you get excited while posting negative remarks about other members..

this thread has past a point of no return.

dbrock, nice fish.. you know we agree with you about the weight.. seeing as it was weighed on scales (thankfully not measured using cazbass's measuring system)

boycie, nice codling, and yes i am jealous as i still have to get a good sized one from irish waters.
