Don't know the name but from where we were fishing it was the head land to our right.

No worries Paul. The beach to our right was Stradbally. Not much of a difference there to Goulane, and stradbally got some windsurfers that day. Perhaps it was on the tralee bay side. I did hear that there wasn't much going on the tralee bay side around the time of the comp and that it normally produces around now for good mixed bags of fish.... Maybe it was fishing well, I just didn't have that info.
