How about the saturday so we can head back victorious on the sunday! I can see it now the streets of dublin and Cork lined with well wishers for our open topped bus as we proudly display the first ever SAI North/South m.b3 memorial cup!!!

7-8th october are the UPC closed gold medal shore competition days so im afraid you guys will have to count me out. benone is the sunday venue of this and is being fished from 12-5, please leave some fish for us!!!

Bait could be in short supply that weekend then if there's a big comp ,were are they fishing the saturday phil ?

some guys like different bits of the beach at different states of the tide jd, to be honest i dont take much heed to the tides on it in general apart from when bass fishing i prefer it low, while others like it high!! but to be honest there should be fish on it at that time of year anyhow, i would take londonderry as i rough tide similar to it i guess, i never work with tide tables!

the saturday morning leg is on portstewart 10-2 then the saturday evening leg is on waterfoot from 6 - 10..

Me too, although if these massive tides that are predicted do occur, benone is no place to be if theres a surf running!

Howdy nige. Meself and a few others stayed in the anchorage hotel in portstewart last year for the jimmy smith comp. Lovely hotel with very reasonable prices and a nightclub! Thats where im gonna be staying.
