that was a great nights fishin lads
i didnt think bass ventured past wexford after oct
its a long time since i fished for them till recently, but when i did, i never saw bass after the shoals of pollock turned up in late october, and the earliest they would be seen again was late march n0w i beieve they dont venture far from where they were spawned until they are about 4 lb
someone mentioned an onshore breeze churnin the bottom
i have only ever seen nights when larger numbers of bass were caught arund dublin when we had east winds bringin good surf
