Hi lads,looks as if this get together is jinxed.My mate can only cover call out for me from about 9pm on Friday til about 10am on Saturday morn.So it would suit me better to fish from late on Friday night to early on Saturday morning and also to stay more local to avoid the long journey.Maybe Portaferry as k2 suggests?If this suits let me know and we can sort times out tomorrow night.Cheers.

i'm game for portaferry ,never fished there so would be a new one for me ,what bout bait and stuff ,take it mainly fish baits and heavy gear ?

as portaferry close i may be able to make on way there so if you sort a day and a time i will get back to you. at the moment i have a lift for saterday night early sunday morning ie about 5ish. but talk and i may be able to get down there anyway being close. K2 dont need a lift as he is so close. so talk i will keep watching.

I can probly do sat night into sunday morn. say 5ish start at the old pier in portaferry at fare end of town. As its your spot down there k2 were fish the best and what bait.

Hey Ron and K2,if things go to plan i should be able to get finished at work about 9pm on Friday.I could fly home get my gear loaded and pick Ron up in Bangor then on to Millisle for you K2.Hopefully we could be fishing for about 11.00pm.I can fish till about 5 ,as i will need to get home for a bit of kip because i'm back on call from 12.30 Saturday till 9.00am Sunday.If this suits let me know where to pick you's up and maybe leave a phone no. in case i may be a bit late.P.S. K2 you should enjoy that wee dander home seeing as how Millisle is so close to Portaferry!!!!!!!.Oh shite why don't i just leave the van there and we'll all walk home.

as my transport is being used by wife and mate not able i will have to pass. other wise i be there like a shot. Let me know how it goes please. i will get you next trip. I hope soon Iam planing on the 12th to get out if anyone free let me know. iam off for a week either side of that date so if out any time around then please call. I will be using k2 forum to post any new info so drop in and read. If i work his site out that is.

Hey Pooks,There may still be a chance for you to go with us.The problem is that i have a Renault Master van with only two passenger seats,but if you're willing, you can sit in the back with all the fishing gear and my work stuff.Don't worry its all clean stuff as i service medical equipment,but there's a lot of it.If this suits leave a post with a rough idea of where you live or leave details and a phone no. on my PM.

AHHH my luck i get a great offer. my wife is a nurse and has taken on over time as i have said i was not going and now iam stuck with the child. that will teach me a leason.

AS i said iam off thur 9th,10,12,13,14 and 15th anyone free these dates let me know. Mabye we can sort it out for then.

I wish to thank you all the same and iam happy to see the forum group still working and long may it go on as the advice and tips and the getting together with other anglers great fun. Let me know how it all goes. I will be chumping at the bite all night now.
I will start a new forum link at k2 site leave ideas and trips out and other stuff there. Iam sure he will help you find his site.

Sorry K2,disregard the first line of that last post.Only just realised you wrote that last night before we went.I thought you were going again tonight.I'm only just in from work and the old brain seems to have seized up.(oh i love work,it saves me from having to fish all the time!!!!!).
