a good weather app for android that I have found is 'WeatherBomb' , Awesome application with live widgets of marks weather conditions in terms of wind/rain/clouds etc.

This site has the tides as well as an option to get tides as a text message which handy. www.irishtidetimes.com

Just an FYI if anyone wants to know what the weather in Carlow is like before travelling my site www.carlowweather.com updates every 60 seconds with current weather data and also has 2 live webcams near Tullow
