as you can see this is an official IFSA event , dont forget all ifsa members are invited to cast so ifsa cards must be produced on the day , look forward to seeing as many participants as possible

Just to remind everyone coming up to 2mro:

Directions to our venue:
http://www.hilltopshootingsports.com/ma ... e=location
it will be clearly sign posted from the main road all the way down to the field.

anyone wanting to come up for a chuck the entry fee is E20 and will be kicking off at 10am sharp.,
For those who do qualify the entry fee for the worlds is E450.00 and is payable 2mro!! to the IFSA official.

The weather is not looking as bad now with decent winds and a few showers, so bring boots, rain gear and/or a beach buddys, as if we are not in the main feild (where we can work out of the back of the cars) we will be at the bottom of the far field with the ruins where cars cannot get down.

See you all there....

A historic day at he hill with decent winds in our favour for most of the day and a blustery cross wind for the last 5/6 rounds, and even a few PB's and a new Irish record thrown in...
How cool was that,,,, 8)

the results are in:
The 1st Irish Casting team to compete at official world level are:

Shane O Dea, Marty Harrison, Andrew Gormley, Paul Noble, Paddy Cunningham.
Results to follow. (I left them with Peter)

so now your going to reck your head thinking who got the new Irish record,,, arnt you,,,,
Watch this space-

Thanks to all who helped set up and pack the court, cheers lads.

Well it definitely wasnt me on either count :) but thank you kindly for having me up there today. Many leads beat me up but nice to have a go at the 4 leads for the first time in a loooonng time. Practise needed me thinks but its all experience and there was some definite possible medal winning chucks up there today.

A top day indeed guys.. Sorry I wasnt about to setup and pack down this time

A massive personal thankyou to all the casters that stepped up to make this possible and the lads that came along to boost the team funds by joining in today, big thanks to Peter from the IFSA too for overseeing everything in his official capacity.

Lets go do ourselves and the Emerald Isle proud, bring it on..

Its good to be on the team but ive a lot of work to do now for Italy in August, so plenty of practice and trying to implement the good advice the lads give me. A special mention to Marty who did a 6 hour round trip to cast despite having a hectic work schedule , respect 8)

Well done lads, great chucking again and impressive numbers for being in the top field.

I do regret I wasn't able to be there this time.
