That brings back some memories. I spent the summer or 2008 and working on a party boat fishing for fluke during the day and stripers at night had some really good catches. I worked on boat called the Ebb Tide. Was mostly using diamond jigs and live eels they were pretty messy bait to work with but were pretty successful. I think the best one we got onto he boat was around 50 pounds. The bluefish put up a serious fights as well but were no where near as popular as the stripers. Would love to go back and do some more fishing there.
