Excellent pictures Alan,

Maybe you could give kilkeeconger a few tips on how its done :)

In fact seeing them has me thinking of investing in a new camera in the January sales.

The camera I use is the silver crest… got 2 from Lidle or Aldi Shaped like a cigar case and the screen flips out from the side… gave one to my sister as a gift and used the other for fishing… I suppose I should say that I took it fishing once and as I washed my hands in the surf it popped out of my top pocket and went for a dip,

Needless to say it died a quick death without ever seeing a fish so I begged the other camera back and it is doing the job nicely in daylight but at night I have a problem with the flash turning fish such as Bass into a ball of silver,

Someone told me to put masking tape over the flash to cure the problem so I will try that next time out,

I feel its not the camera that has a problem Its me,

Well done Alan thats exactly what im talking about clear and concise photos on an official measure, stunning fish and i think if they hit 3lbs we'd all be fishing for them. :D :D :D .
" i think the lesson here is put your photos were your mouth is    " as we all know as anglers that the fish you catch always gets bigger in your stories and were all guilty :P :P :P

killtheconger i never said you did state it was three lbs, we were discussing size and dan said he saw them 3lbs in creels, in strangford lough or somewhere, this is a forum for discussion if im writing on your topic it doesnt neccessarily mean im referring to you, read all the posts, i replied to dans. saying id like to see the 3lb fish he's talking about as ronald already stated. so relax and take it easy       .
keep fishing for the three pounder though :D :D :D .
sorry for any confusion.

 I didn't realise they grew to that size, the ones I've seen and caught myself have all been tiddlers.

Btw that's some fish Eyes

theres bigger in strangford lough. i've seen them to atleast 3Ibs in creels with cod head for bait, but you get loads of tiddlers. might give it a go for them next year and if i get a biggie that will be brill iant.
