anyone know what's happening on this? exact venue, date, etc. think fishing at night is silly if it's a 'fish and meet'. starting a few hours before dark and fishing into night might be a better idea?

come on lads, let's nail this one on the head.

thanks again,

Mark.

How about Greystones North beach 10 pm high tide as stated. Could meet up before dark etc. So MB3 can get cosy with the guys and all that! Then at least there would be a chance of fish... Ed had a Conger of about 3 lb and plenty of coalies etc last week end. Might be worth a shot? :?

I'd have to agree with you. There have been some good catches there recently.

Anybody meeting this Saturday October 9

#46 Post by Ed Burke »

I thought the meet up was this Saturday, as its the date that Kieran has mentioned. I have the planning permission in for that date anyway, high tide being 20.30. Will fish the north beach. Anybody else?

What happened the 30th!

Damn, I'm in Limerick this weekend, so can't make it. Hope the fishing is good for you though lads. I fished the harbour last Tuesday and caught at least 10 dogs (lost count), along with several flounder and a solitary whiting. All caught on freshly caught mackie strip.

There is no reason why we can't do this again... There is just so much talk and no action. If this goes well then maybe people will be more likely to tag along next time?...

I take it none of the attendee's are soccor fans anyway? Is the match not on at 8pm tomorrow? Not much hope of getting a good turnout when you are up against France v Ireland.
