Ferrypoint is mainly a crab venue, expect LSDs, flounder, bass. Not to say they wont take other baits too though.

That's the route I use as well Paul, much better than going through Waterford as the traffic on the quays can be bad at weekends, especially at this time of the year.

Yep, as Dave said its hammerin straight down (absolutely no wind) at the minute and will more than likely do so for the rest of the day.

Accuweather (and RTE ) give it to be a mix of clouds and sunshine with a light  westerly wind for Saturday.

Have ur wet gear very handy. :?

Lads gutted but I won't be making it now. New timing belt is gonna cost me €250 so I'll be tightening all other belts for the next few weeks.

Have a good one, hope the weather clears

Decided to hell with it and will be staying up tomorrow night. For those who arent decided yet and dont have any accomodation booked, Lawlors Hotel in Dungarvan still has rooms available for tomorrow night. 70 euro for a single, I didnt price a twin or a double contact them on Freephone: 1800 931 980.

JP, Seanie etc, hope you have your guiding (and guzzling...) hats on for the weekend.....
