i heard that there was a price difference in getting digital scales and spring balance ones done....maybe difference between kg an lb scales or something??
i have to get a set done soon myself...salter digitals that do both.
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!

There are lots of scales reviewed in this months Sea Angler.
The Rapala ones (1&2) look the best, even though they may be a little pricey.

Can anyone let me know what scales they would recommend or have used, preferably digital.

Thinking a set in the box when bass/conger/smoothie etc fishing would be great than "guestimating" down the pub or on the beach . .

Salter Breknell "Electro Sampson"

A superb scales, available in a few different ratings. Easily certifiable.

Loads available on ebay at good prices.
