Pete,
I know you like eBay. Here's one item you might consider bidding on

Who knows? If there is enough demand we might even see it in the Veals Autumn catalog! :)

Hello carlbfast.
I already said that I don't see myself as some tough guy but I would have to speak to people like this. Not every conversation with a drunk has to end badly. If they started to go down this road then that is the time to leave.
I approach people like this all the time through the coast guard and have not yet had to
Every case has to judged before you go approaching people like this but in my experience it is rare that you end up in hassle if you approach them in a friendly manner.
Just my experience..
no matter how much you think you can take them on

LOL, Could have been doing with one of those when I was running shops in Limerick City.
I take your points Coaster, and fair play. I have had numerous run ins with this section of the community before and have never had much success at sensible conversation but thats probably more down to my own attitude than anything else. If you have the balls to approach them and the attitude and demeanour to pull it off without things turning aggressive then go for it.

Camden
Unfortunately Camden is a remote mark and no way could any guards get there, also anyone wishing to escape could do it easy across the rocks in both directions. to avoid this sort of thing fish an early or late coming tide as these wallies only show them selves at high water. As Camden has been a prolific mackerel mark for decades there is not much to be done, everyone and his dog knows where it is.
It is how ever a great mark so get there early...Chris

scummers are everywhere lads.A lady in my town bray co wicklow seen a group of youths kicking a swan in bray harbour, and throwing rocks at them too. Think its just a case af having no respect for them selves or anything else.I blame their parents myself, they should have thought them to fish at an early age.
