thanks all for your help and a very big thanks to Rockhopper who went out of his way to help 8)

Turns out the driver claims he delivered it to no.9 (I'm no. 7) in the wrong estate (that estate has no numbers only names) to the McCaibes(according to phonebook and neighbors no McCabes) Says he tried to drop it in here, I personaly saw him drive straight past the house :shock: :evil: :roll:

Will let you know what happens,

p.s. I may get the rod from veals again (plus other items) would you suggest I use my normal home address or go somewhere different this time like a relitives? Thanks

Get a huge banner printed with your name and address, hang it outside.
Lay out one of those Stingers the guards use for joy-riders if he tries to drive past :twisted:

Is this the same rod a local shop was fobbing you off about a while back? You're having an awful run of luck with it!

:D :D Veals sent out a replacement rod and it arrived today, very nice of them indeed!! 8) Will do a review of the rod in that section.

Still haven't gotten anywhere with the "lost" one. Got up early to talk to the postman about it but low and behold it was the normal guy who was back on duty!! I'm still going to follow up with this, anybody ever have any luck when you put in a complaint?

Anyway, I'm happy now :lol: :P
