Neilus that's a total lie! you know as well as i do that the only way you can possibly catch a shannon thornie is in the middle of a thunder storm at two in the morning, on a massive spring tide, fishing a huge mackeral and rag coctail mounted on a 4/0 kamasan aberdeen long shank hook, pinned down at 200 yards with a 7 ounce grip lead on a century kompressor wr300, otherwise you won't get a look in.... stop trying to make ray fishing sound easy, coz it isn't... i hate liars

ya sum people only go on this site to start fights but sure if thats what makes them happy!

on a lighter note am enjoying this warm spell of waether these last few days didnt bother goin to lectures today just sitting out enjoying the sun and it might encourage the thornies to move inshore aswel,happy days!

ha sweeney...did u go at the weekend went to carig had only dogs...no ray. off to wexford the weekend for a comp so wont be fishing the estuary

couldnt go the weather was poor, sure youd be lucky to get a thornie in carig in mid-summer its not exactly renouned for its ray fishing, mite give kil a shot the weekend
