Nice fishing guys.
Species List 2012 (Me) - Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Plaice, Codling, pollack, dab, SS Scorpion Fish, Ballan Wrasse, Codling.

Species List 2012 (Daniel) - Not got started yet :-(

Trout, Turbot and Thornback, I guess that's T sorted for this year! That first sea trout looks a lot better fed than the other two, I take it he was the suspected salmon?

2019 species; ballan wrasse,blonde ray, coalfish, cod, cuckoo wrasse, dab, dogfish, flounder, goldsinny wrasse, ling, mackerel, plaice, pollack, poorcod, pouting, scad, sea scorpion, spotty ray, spurdog, thornback, tub gurnard, turbot, whiting.

All Salmon are suspect now after the great escape during the storm :D

the first one was the healthiest looking one man, but as usual out that way there was a lot of lice on the poor wee fellas. in the past we have had great flounder sessions out that way. and all the flounder are usually crawling with the lice too :(

so I believe, you'd think that by now with all the information available, salmon farms at sea would be a thing of the past. but as ever profit seems to overwhelm common sense :evil: :roll: :roll: :roll:

That first trout looks like a sea reared rainbow trout in my opinion Al, the tail wrist is thicker than normal and the tail lobes are very rounded for a wild fish but that is possible. Only way to be sure would be DNA profilling.

Great fishing there lads, bet you went home tired but well happy. That was a great bit of fishing lads, and as usual, a very detailed and comprehensive report.
