What weight capilenes would you recommend for early spring fishing Jim?

C4 in bottoms and C3 in top - I'm about 5'9" and weigh 180 or so defo take a large over a medium still fits 'snug' sizes are a little on the lean side then again in spring I'm always a bit 'larger' than say late autumn!

Alright lads.

Ended up with the scierra c4 waders 2013 model.

Kinetic boots sized 9 studded

Using a thick track suit for hear underneath.

Couldn't be happier with the set up.

No sweat inside. And I'm 100% dry on every outing I return from.
The waders are very very comfortable.
Few nice little extras on then (Extra padding on knees inner pockets.
High end stitching on socks )

Boots are the job as well. Very comfortable and light.

Can't beat a shop that knows what you need before you do.

Absolute fishing in Tramore Waterford

Anybody wants to know anything about bass or general fishing

Get there. Unreal shop for advice help and very very good prices compared to a few shops around.

nice one, be prepared to thrash wading boots.....not sure if the rocks around castlegregory are sharper than the south east but if they are, be in for reefing boots.....u get felt soles?
cant beat a good local tackle shop, just good to go in for a chat even if ur not buying , but always end up buying something regardless !

ATF I can't go to the shop without getting at least a packet of swivels

Boots are rubber studded. Yeah rocks are sharp here also.

Rubber studded boots can be excellent, but don't ever get on a boat in them. They will destroy the paint / topcoat.

Like Jim C I use a pair of lidl / Aldi boots. Either Work boots or the cheap walking boats. I always avoid the steel toe. I can get 1 year easily our of the cheap boots and I would use them all the time. Sea, lake, river, boat and shore. Just retired a set of boots after 20 months use. These boots tend to have excellent grip and if you wanted to, you could buy 2 pairs and srew a set of studs into one and your sorted for everything.

Remember to wash your books in fresh water after use to get the most out of them. Salt water doesn't be long trashing the glue or stitching in most footwear.
