At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

I'd like to see the size of the unity 45 as I'll be pairing it with a range of 7-8ft 10-30g rods, concerned that it might be on the heavy side.

I really do thing it is worth investing in the Ci4 reels (maybe Ci4+ ?). If you can stretch to 150, get your self the Rarenium 2500. Beautiful reels.

Headed down to Halfway angling Saturday and picked up an aArnos 4000 in the end. Was going to get the 3000 shallow which is a beautiful reel ( and would be better balanced on most of my rods) but being truthful with myself, I know I would end up bending the lighter bail arm trying to pull out a snagged lure with 20lb whiplash in a temper :) !! Picked up a 7ft Abu Vendetta in Murrays for €36 on the way home to replace the broken Abu devil, exceptional value in my opinion :) !! Thanks for all the replies lads, very much appreciated :)
