thanks brian. i fished 2 hours into dark the first night with nothing to show for it but then again the tide was down and only starting to come back up again. the best fishing was at high tide earlier in the day.saving private brian wrote:love the pics here,,,,i seen this beach was used by the total sea fishing magazine team for a flattie session a while back,,,it seemed to throw up much better at night as flats over the 40cms were caughtmmmwell done Charles and crew
maybe a high tide coinciding with dusk might be worth a go, or indeed into dark. also, the tides were very small that weekend too

Brilliant photos Charlie and John. Top class report also, those turbot are very nice. The weather was good to yez as well.
2013 Sea Species:- Bass, Flounder, 5 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Whiting, red gurnard, grey gurnard, Pollack, coley, mackerel, sea trout, cant remember cos I didn't update at the time.....
2012 Sea species:- Pollack, Coley, Mackerel, Cod, Bass, Sea Trout, Haddock, Plaice, Dab, Flounder, Red Gurnard, Grey Gurnard, Pouting, Whiting, Corkwing Wrasse, Ballan Wrasse, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Brown Trout caught on beach.
