sounds like a great session mate. i've never caught a sea trout in my life. i would love too, but don't even know where to get them.

Mighty stuff :) I even considering investing in a licence and trying my hand at sea trout this year after reading your report :)

Easily. I was fishing a channel, had a couple of takes right under the rod tip in about 12 inches of water.
I might bring the fly rod in May as i have been given a free holiday for the weekend at Dunfanaghy
