Tanx SPB, I was starting to think they wouldnt show up at all, usually mid june u would get a burst of them, but all the rain, crap weather and weed killed if off, just delighted they decided to play ball.. The mackerel are v v scarce this year down this way, but when we were fishing the other nyt, around 10yards out up the whole coast were shoals of mullet bubbling on top of the water, never seen them in that number on that beach before, and if tope do dabble in a bit of mullet feeding, id say they were chasing them in, but that remains 2 be seen!!

Hey Sparkey, Tanx mate :) Ehh they are in close, they come in on the flooding tide feeding and i have caught them in around 50yards or closer at times.. Ahh stop, i was paranoid the whole night about that fish swimming back in to shore, would break my heart to see him so tired from the fight that he couldnt swim off, some of them really give it everything not 2 be landed!!

Tanx very much TL, its just a numbers game, the more hours u put in, the more chance u have of coming across them!!
Remember some week of putting 35+hours in a week for them, and not even a run!!
